Prof Oliver McAnena

Professor Oliver McAnena, a luminary in the field of surgery, holds distinguished positions at University College Galway, including Regional Director of Cancer Services and Clinical Professor of Surgery. With an MCh and FRCSI from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, his career has been marked by significant achievements in general surgery and surgical oncology.

Professor McAnena's expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of surgical disciplines, with particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
