Prof Malay Sheth

Professor Malay Sheth is a distinguished obstetrician-gynecologist with over 30 years of clinical experience, including leadership roles in a large single specialty Ob/Gyn practice and as a Medical Director of a multi-specialty group. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, a Master of Medical Management from Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College.

In addition to his extensive clinical work, which includes performing over 5000 deliveries in both tertiary care and community hospital settings, Prof Sheth is deeply committed to improving patient safety and healthcare quality. As a key member of the leadership team at Salus QSC, he leverages his vast experience in patient safety, risk management, EHR implementation, and medical malpractice case review. His role involves providing actionable patient safety recommendations and working closely with healthcare organizations to implement pragmatic steps towards safe patient care.

Prof Sheth's dedication to medical education is evident in his role as a clinical faculty member at UPMC-Magee-Womens Hospital and as a Clinical Preceptor for various residency programs. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
